West Virginia on a single sheet: Charleston, Huntington, Morgantown, the two panhandles and the borders of all 55 counties.
What prints
Few states are as awkward to fit on a page as West Virginia. The main body is compact, but the Northern Panhandle sticks up between Ohio and Pennsylvania for about 60 miles, and the Eastern Panhandle reaches east along the Potomac almost to Harpers Ferry, where it nearly touches the Maryland–Virginia–West Virginia meeting point. The sheet shows both panhandles in full and the 55 county borders in between. Almost every border is a river or a ridge rather than a surveyed line: the Ohio River on the northwest, the Big Sandy and Tug Fork on the southwest with Kentucky, the Potomac on the northeast with Maryland, and the Allegheny crest on the southeast with Virginia. The only straight lines are the short Mason–Dixon segment with Pennsylvania and the Northern Panhandle's eastern edge. Charleston, on the Kanawha River, is marked with the capital star; the Major cities layer adds Huntington, Morgantown and Parkersburg.
Page orientation
Landscape works best. The Eastern Panhandle pushes the overall width to about 240 miles against a height of about 240 miles including the Northern Panhandle, but the mass of the state is wider than it is tall once the northern spike is discounted. Landscape keeps the Eastern Panhandle from being cropped and leaves space on the right for the key. Expect the two panhandles to look thin; that is the shape, not a printing fault.

The rivers that define the borders show as the border line only; their courses inside the state appear on the Streets layer. County names are omitted. The West Virginia county map supplies them, and the blank West Virginia map gives the outline alone.
