Printable Florida map
Florida printed on one page: Tallahassee in the Panhandle, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and St. Petersburg down the peninsula, and all 67 county lines.
What prints
Florida's printed outline has two parts that pull in different directions: the Panhandle running west along the Gulf toward Alabama, and the peninsula dropping about 400 miles south to the Keys. The sheet includes both, with the 67 county borders inside. Tallahassee is the capital star in the Panhandle, well away from the big cities, which explains why the capital is so often a quiz question. The Major cities layer places Jacksonville in the northeast corner, Miami at the southern tip, Tampa and St. Petersburg on either side of Tampa Bay on the Gulf coast, and Orlando in the interior. Lake Okeechobee, the large lake north of the Everglades, is drawn as part of the outline data.
Page orientation
Because the peninsula is tall and the Panhandle is wide, neither orientation is perfect. Use portrait: the peninsula fills the height of the page and the Panhandle sits across the top, which wastes some space in the upper right but keeps the small counties of the peninsula readable. Landscape fits the Panhandle better yet shrinks the whole state, and the Keys become a faint line at the bottom edge. If your lesson is only about the peninsula, zoom in before printing.

- The state name and abbreviation FL.
- Tallahassee, marked as capital in Leon County in the Panhandle.
- Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and St. Petersburg on the Major cities layer.
- All 67 county borders, from Escambia at the western end of the Panhandle to Monroe, which includes the Keys.
- The St. Marys River and the surveyed line with Georgia, the Perdido River with Alabama, and the Gulf and Atlantic coasts.
Florida sits in two time zones and this sheet is a good place to show it: the Apalachicola River, roughly, divides the Central Time Zone in the western Panhandle from the Eastern Time Zone in the rest of the state. Students can draw that line, then mark the Everglades in the south and the Suwannee River across the north. County names are on the county map; a sheet with nothing marked is on the blank Florida map.
